October, 2006 - HCC is pleased to announce new Remote Fill software.
HCC's new Remote Fill product enables pharmacies to offload scheduled refills to a central fulfillment location.
By centralizing the automation, pharmacies can take advantage of one centralized robotic setup instead of paying for robotics in individual stores, or they can participate in central fill provider solutions such as Smart-Fill.
Prefilled prescriptions are delivered to the pharmacies so that they are ready for the patient on-time. Taking the refill labor out of the pharmacy means pharmacists can spend more time managing their pharmacies and caring for their patients.
Better labor and inventory management assist the pharmacy in providing services for competitive PBM plans, improves inventory levels, and stabilizes third party receivables.
