September 2006 - HCC's EZ-Sign signature capture system now provides an efficient way to comply with new federal regulations for tracking OTC sales of pseudoephedrine.
In response to customer requests, HCC is pleased to announce that its EZ-Sign® electronic signature capture system is now capable of helping pharmacies to meet all regulatory requirements for OTC pseudoephedrine sales tracking.
EZ-Sign is configurable to meet the specific regulations in your area. EZ-Sign will prompt your pharmacy staff for the required information to meet your regulatory requirements.
About EZ-Sign - EZ-Sign is a full-featured electronic signature capture system that provides simple methods for collecting and storing electronic signatures and authorizations for all types of pharmacy related services including third party logs, safety closure authorizations, and receipt of prescriptions.
In addition, EZ-Sign captures required HIPAA signatures and enables customers to enroll in Refill Reminders and Auto-Fill programs. With EZ-Sign's features, bin management becomes an easy process to help manage your on hand prescription inventory. EZ-Sign is ideal for full-service pharmacies with drive-thru pickup windows due to its wireless technology. It may be combined with PDAs to track receipt of deliveries.
EZ-Sign is easily integrated with HCC's Alpha-PC or Synercom pharmacy management systems and with its Alpha-POS point of sale system.
