Product Support Specialist
Department Product Support
Summary Provide telephone and dial-in technical support services to end users for a variety of proprietary software applications, including but not limited to: Pharmacy, Accounts Receivable, Nursing Home, and retail Point-Of-Sale. Support skills in retail Operating Systems including Windows and UNIX.

Duties
- Handle incoming and follow-up calls with customers.
- Utilize call-tracking system to document issue, action and resolution on all calls.
- Ownership and resolution of all issues assigned in a timely manner.
- QC new and current software releases.
- Keep positive Customer Service attitude while dealing with a range of customers and stress levels.

- Linux, UNIX, Open Server, Windows 2000/XP operating systems - intermediate level
- Intermediate level hardware and peripheral knowledge
- Analytical troubleshooting
- Ability to multitask and handle frequently changing priorities

Education
&/or
ExperienceMinimum of two years experience in a Support/Service environment. This position requires both Technical Support and Customer Service abilities. This is not a scripted Call Center environment.

Summary Create, develop, and test applications, ASP.NET web pages, or stored procedures in the required languages to serve up customer and/or management data as needed for value added services to the pharmacy industry in the form of competitive switching services, online claims reviews, electronic Durable Medical Equipment claims processing, market share administration, and pharmacy profitability management
